Say goodbye to stubborn acne with our comprehensive guide to understanding the causes and treatments available for both teenage and adult acne.
From hormonal fluctuations, stress and excess oil production to bacteria and inflammation, we will delve into the cause of your skin condition to help you tackle the root of the problem.
Our expertly curated collection of treatments covers a wide range of solutions, including cosmeceutical grade home care prescriptives and professional strength in-clinic treatments.
Whether it's whiteheads, blackheads, pustules or cysts, we have got you covered with the insights into how each type of acne needs to be treated.
What type of Acne do I have?
There are several different types of acne and our team will complete a clinic assessment of your skin to determine this and also a plan on how to treat it.
How many treatments will I need before it's cleared?
This very much depends on how advanced the acne is and how committed you are to treating it at home every day.
The more advanced types of acne naturally take longer to treat and heal. We wish we had a magic wand, but your acne didn't just appear overnight, and the treatments won't magically heal it overnight either. No 2 skins are the same, and your Skin Therapist will create a bespoke treatment to have you looking and feeling your best in the quickest time possible.
Will I get scars from my acne?
There is no straight forward answer to this one, however the quicker we start treating and healing the skin the less chance there is of scarring.
Is acne genetic?
Yes, if either of your parents suffered acne when they were younger, there is a greater likelihood that you too will experience it.
How do I prevent acne?
See a professional, have a skin consultation and analysis and learn how to care for your body's biggest organ from an early age. Prevention is much easier, and CHEAPER, than a cure.
Will acne scars go away on their own?
Generally not, but we do offer many different solutions in clinic to treat scarring also.
