What is the best treatment to get rid of pigmentation?

We are asked this question several times a day, because living in this location, we are all prone to some type of pigmentation or will be in the future. There is no one clear cut answer for this question as there are many many causes of pigmentation. Many believe it is from the sun, and whilst this is true, UV exposure is responsible for the majority of visible pigmentation, there are many other causes including medication, stress, and hormonal changes to name just a few. This is why we need to deep dive with lots of questions with you to understand what the possible causes of your pigment are so that we4 know how to treat it and there are several different options available.

How many treatments do I need to remove the pigmentation?

This greatly depends on the individual, how dedicated you are to your daily home care prescription and of course, the initial cause. No skin professional can make claims as to how many treatments are required. W4e can give a general guideline, but depending on how your skin responds, determines how many treatments are required. Managing the cause of the pigmentation is crucial because no matter how many treatments or money you may invest, the pigment has a high probability of recurring.
